Holiday 2006 – Friday noonish

Filed under: Uncategorized — matty @ 4:08 pm

We took a walk (Took? as opposed to asking politely for it?) along the coastal path. A small bit of it, between St Ives and Lelant, that is. It can be quite steep in places, but the views are nice (if you head the other way from St. Ives, it’s much more rugged, beautiful and, to be honest, dangerous in places. That’s if you fall over in the wrong direction.)

Carbis Bay. Wouldn’t fancy that view very much.

There’s a line between St. Ives and St. Erth which runs pretty close to the coastal path at times.

Then you head up into some woods.

After the walk through the woods you get out onto the dunes.

And you get a view of Hayle.

A train.

Lelant Sands or Saltings or something.

So several crap photos, a couple of pints of St. Austells HSD, me, and two bottles of Coors Light, her, later we went off to Lelant Sands and caught a train back. A wholly pointless venture, really, but at least I got a little exercise.
